Covenant Presbyterian Church has weekly ministries and outreach for all ages and is an active church. We believe that the Church is called to equip Christians of all ages so that believers can then better serve their family and friends, their community, and the world. We also believe that life is better lived together and we gather for fellowship frequently to enjoy camping, river cleanup, family picnics, boating and swimming at the lake, and more.

If you have questions or would like to get involved in one of our ministries please contact our pastor here.

Children & Youth

Each Sunday our children are led in Bible Study, which includes Bible study outlines, activities, and teacher-facilitated discussion. Snacks are also served each week. During the worship hour, our children attend the worship service with the adults and are given the opportunity to participate in worship by providing special music. We also have a nursery and preschool available on Sunday mornings.

The children enjoy occasional Saturday field trips to museums and other local attractions, and each summer we hold our annual Vacation Bible School.

Our youth are led in Bible study each week by one our elders and it includes study and discussion. The youth join the adults in worship and are invited to join the children on Saturday field trips.

We are fortunate to be so close to the Georgia College campus and we enjoy having students join us for worship each week. Once a month the string quartet from Georgia College helps lead our worship service. Each week our Senior Pastor, Andy Adams, leads Discover Jesus on the Milledgeville campus of Central Georgia Technical College. They meet each Wednesday at noon in the CGTC Café for pizza and a discussion on the life of Christ – all students are invited.

Our adults meet together on Sunday mornings for Bible Study – the class is organized around 10-week themes that include studies on books of the Bible, people of the Bible, and multi-media video series. The men enjoy a Men’s Breakfast and devotional on special Saturdays throughout the year. The women of the church meet once a month for a Wednesday Night Book Discussion (3rd Wednesday at 7:00pm in the Parlor) and weekly for a Thursday morning Bible Study (10:00am in the Rose Room off the sanctuary).

Missions & Outreach

Covenant is very involved in local, regional, and global missions. Locally our congregation actively serves Crossroads Pregnancy Center, which provides free pregnancy testing and counseling, and Chard Wray Food Pantry. Regionally we support Ridge Haven camp in North Carolina and globally we support the work of Mission to North America and Mission to the World. Learn more about our Missions and Outreach efforts here.

Missionaries We Support

At Covenant we enjoy music and feature specials throughout the year. The Georgia College string quartet plays monthly, our children learn new songs and sing during our worship service, and we have special concerts as well, including a yearly Christmas concert, “Room for a Baby,” which helps support Crossroads Pregnancy Center.
