The Vision of Covenant Presbyterian Church
For God’s glory, Covenant Presbyterian Church is committed to:
“so that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.”
Goals to accomplish this vision have been stated as follows and are framed, and hang beside the vision.
The Goals of Covenant Presbyterian Church
The goal of evangelizing is to reach out to the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ in obedience to the command of our Lord.
The goal of equipping and discipling is to give structured teaching to members of the congregation. These members will in turn teach and train others for positions of leadership and ministry.
The goal of ministry to the body of Covenant Church is to build up and strengthen the people of God by encouraging, admonishing, correcting and training in righteousness. In addition, we will seek to determine and utilize the gifts of the congregation, as well as assimilate newcomers into the life of Covenant church.
The goal of ministry to Milledgeville and the Oconee area is to determine and address the needs of the people in order that we might show the love of Christ in word and deed.
